Iskcon Kolkata vice-president Radharamn Das attributed Trump's escape to divine intervention, recalling Trump's support for Iskcon's first Rathyatra in New York in 1976. Trump, then a 30-year-old real estate mogul, provided his train yard for free to Iskcon devotees for building chariots, making the grand procession on Fifth Avenue possible.Trump's secretary was surprised when Trump agreed to help after reading a letter and tasting Maha Prasadam left by the devotees.
