The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken swift action to support former Indian cricketer Anshuman Gaekwad, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. BCCI secretary Jay Shah has directed the Apex Council to immediately release a sum of Rs 1 crore to provide financial assistance to the veteran player. In addition to the financial support, Shah has personally reached out to Gaekwad's family to assess the situation and offer any necessary assistance.
