At least 32% of candidates did not attend the UP police constable exam on Saturday. Out of 9.6 lakh applicants, only 6.5 lakh took part. No significant incidents were reported across 67 districts’ 1,174 centers. Authorities highlighted 72 suspect cases and arrested 12 individuals for impersonation. An FIR was lodged against unnamed individuals for spreading rumors of a paper leak.
