The founder and director "Kalashree" Sukanya Mahadevan has been teaching this art for over 15 years, has conducted several arangetrams and is the disciple of teachers such as "Padmashree" Saroja Vaidyanathan and "Kalaimamani" Saraswati Sundaresan. She has choreographed several productions for charitable causes and has herself performed in many prestigious sabhas such as Mylapore Fine arts, Sahitya Kala Parishad, ITDC and Naradaganasabha. The school has an annual day every year and the students perform all over NJ. Not only do the students get to perform in prestigious competitions, programs and lecture demos but are also enabled to build great portfolis for college applications. The school is currently expanding into other classical Indian art forms such as Kuchipudi, carnatic vocal etc.
