Sangeet Millennium's Baba Allauddin Khan Music Academy
in historic Oak Cliff, 5 minutes from Dallas Zoo.

Senior disciple of Sufi Aashish Khan and Padmabhushan Girija Devi, with 25 years performing and teaching experience, offers Hindustani music lessons to learners age 7 and up. Private and small group (2-4 students) lessons in:
• Sitar -- all levels
• Voice -- beginner, intermediate
• Esraj -- beginner, intermediate
• Hindustani musicianship on various instruments (No Indian music experience necessary, but intermediate skill level or higher required on respective instrument)

Summer Session 2013 consisting of 8 lessons starts July 17. Lesson times available Tuesday-Friday and weekends by appointment. We will also offer periodic performances, lec-dems, multi-day workshops, and master classes by accomplished local artists and distinguished touring artists and gurus. There will be one or two student recitals per year. Our inaugural event, a concert by Sufi Aashish Khan opened by yours truly, took place on March 29, 2013.

Lesson fees and policies are as follows. Take advantage of session discounts!
• Lessons last one hour for beginners; 1.25-1.5 hours for more advanced students.
• Registration fee: $20/session, waived if you continue for 2 or more sessions.
• Lesson fees are payable in full.
• 24-hour cancellation required; otherwise, no makeup for missed lesson
• Discounts (on single lesson fees for private, duet, or small group classes):
o 8 lessons weekly (2 month session) -- 20% off
o 4 lessons weekly (1 month session) or biweekly lessons (4 lessons in 2 month session--for adults and intermediate level children/youth) -- 10% off
• Single lesson fees:
o Private: $50
o Duet -- 2 students: $35 each
o Small group -- 3 or 4 students - $25 each

- Skype lessons also available.
- Will do house calls for minimum 2 students.
