I am the Founder and Artistic Director of Omkara School of Indian Classical Dance - Kuchipudi. I have 24+ years of experience in teaching the great Indian traditional art form of Kuchipudi, and 35+ years of experience in performing in many places around the Globe. I post graduated in Masters in Performing Arts (Indian Classical Dance - Kuchipudi) from Hyderabad Central University and was the topper in the University. I have been training many students over the past Decades in the US. I and my students have staged solo and group performances on various prestigious occasions and fundraisers.
I will be teaching Kuchipudi Dance Classes starting from the beginning of October. Please contact me for more information # 503 915 8819
I have come across many Artists that don’t have avenues to showcase their talent and the art forms they love and have sacrificed their lives in learning and preserving them. To help any Artist showcase their talent across the Globe, I have founded a non-profit organization called ACCESS (Abhinaya Center for Cultural Exchange, Support and Services). The mission of the Cultural center is to support artists from any field and encourage them to perform and showcase their talent across the Globe.
To further help the community, I was recently elected as the Joint Secretary for National Federation of Indian-American Associations (NFIA), a 42-year-old national level organization. This is the first nonprofit organization and the umbrella for all the Indian American nonprofit organizations in US.
