Pain Care Physicians
We believe that you deserve a team which specializes in relief.
Pain Injections
At Pain Care Physicians, we offer pain relief through a wide variety of injections for cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, and ankle pain, as well as repetitive injuries.
Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
Spinal cord stimulation (also called SCS) uses electrical impulses to travel and potentially block pain signals in various parts of the body including but not limited to the spine and extremities.
Electrodiagnostic Testing (NCV/EMG)
This is a test which measures the activity of your muscles and nerves. Part one is a nerve conduction study (NCV) that provides an electrical stimulus which can be measured to study the electrical conductivity of your nerves. The second part is a needle electromyogram (EMG). It measures the electrical output of your muscles and provides critical data of how the muscles and nerves are working together.
PRP Injections
This is an injection of your body's own products (Blood and Platelets), which are isolated using a centrifuge device. There have been many publications in scientific literature suggesting that PRP may or could contribute to the healing process. One paper in particular suggested that cartilage in the knee can potentially be expanded with the use of PRP.
Other Services
Pain Care Physicians offers many other services which may be appropriate depending on your needs. These options will be discussed during your visit with us.
This outpatient diagnostic test is used to evaluate the health of muscles and the nerves, called motor neurons, which control the muscles. EMG is a valuable diagnostic device for determining the cause of muscle weakness and for identifying neurologic disorders.
