Payal Dance Academy



Payal Dance Academy is an Indian dance school located in Murphy, Texas. For the past 40 years, we have been teaching and inspiring the next generation of brilliant artists.

Bharatnatyam, the primary classical style we teach, is an age-old dance form that originated 400 years ago, in the temples of southern India. It was used mostly as a form of worship by temple servants, and eventually other artists revived the form and brought it to the stage. 

We currently provide instruction to both kids and adults, and believe that everyone should have an opportunity to experience and learn this eternal dance form.



The various courses provided include Bharatnatyam, Bollywood/fusion dance, and an arangetram track.
