Aditi Khatri’s interests have always been inclined towards visual & performing art.
She graduated with a double Degree. She graduated with a B.F.A in Textile Designing from JJ School of Arts (Gold medal) & B.F.A in Bharat-natyam from Nalanda University, Mumbai.
She learnt the Kalakshetra style from Guru.Bhavana Thakkar who is M.F.A from Nalanda University and a disciple of Guru. Smt. Kanak Rele, the principal of Nalanda University, Mumbai.
Her passion has always been dancing, so she started learning from the tender age of 8 yrs.
She did perform her “Aarengetram” on Dec1994 in Mumbai and since then never looked back.
Since then she performed at the Guruyaur Dance Festival in the years 1996 & 1999 under the banner of Shri Nibha Arts.
She also did perform at the Ram Navmi dance festival, Mumbai and proved her dedication towards this style with every performance.
The renowned Kathak exponent Guru Sitara Devi also appreciated her talent and late Guru Madhurita Sarang as Aditi performed an eminent role in a dance ballet “Kumar Sambhav”.
Since then she performed in many dance ballets like ‘Ma Prakriti”, “Aashtanayika” and “Ritu” to name a few from her elaborate dance repertoire.
She started teaching dance in the year 2000 and since then has trained over 250 students in Bharat-natyam, Folk Dance, Fusion and Bollywood dancing.
She choreographed for annual shows for schools like Bombay Scottish, Ava Bai Petit and Queen Mary and many more private shows.
She has performed for Smt Suba Parmar in the summer of 2008 for a dance ballet
”Roopa Viroopa”
In New Jersey, she has won competitions like FIA 2008,2009,2010,2011 in the minors & juniors for choreography & costumes, Zalak 2009 2nd place in the seniors, Naach 2008 & 2009 where she got the best Choreographer award & most creative dance. We even participated in Naya Andaz 2010, Dushahra , Diwali mela and many more.
