Musicsunita's Academy of Indian Music

Musicsunita Academy of Music is dedicated to the cause of promoting and preserving India’s rich music and culture. Sunita Kapur is the founder, creative director, and principal vocal instructor of Musicsunita Academy of Music. The Academy teaches many genres of Indian vocal music such as hindustani classical, bhajans, ghazals, old and new Bollywood music, and folk music.

At Musicsunita Academy of Music, your training includes: swara gyaan, voice culture, taal, ucchaar, bhaav, alankaars, raagas, taan and aalaap, bandish, microphone technique, building self confidence, stage presence, self discipline, karaoke singing, appreciating music, and an ability to perform for an audience.

There are classes offered for beginner, intermediate, advanced students. There are several options for types of lessons including: group, private, in-person, and virtual. Further, there are classes offered based on genre including: Hindustani classical, classical and Bollywood, and only Bollywood (karaoke lessons).
