Rice Magazine is the flagship print and online publication of Rice University and is published quarterly by the Office of Public Affairs. With a circulation of 60,000, our audience is primarily alumni, but also includes staff, faculty, parents of undergraduates, donors and community leaders. There is no membership, dues or subscription required for receiving Rice Magazine, and the magazine has no external advertising.

Our stories report broadly on where we live, learn and make an impact as an institution and community — from the complex and fascinating city of Houston and far beyond to the world at large. We seek the highest standards in writing, editing, design and photography. Our goal is to build an ongoing appreciation for and connection to our university home.
