The Uncontrollable Social Media Activists of YCP: A Chaotic Situation

  • YCP, social media activists, legal issues, police scrutiny, chaotic situation

Many YCP social media activists are facing legal issues, and it’s evident that their former leaders have distanced themselves, with some even fleeing abroad. However, some activists remain undeterred, willing to face arrest and jail time. Despite warnings, certain YCP social media activists persist in their actions, seemingly inviting legal trouble willingly. Who is responsible for their choices? They appear out of control, with neither party leaders nor the party head able to restrain them. One notable example is Varra Ravinder Reddy, who is disliked even within YCP for past blackmail attempts. Despite efforts to manage him, he continued unchecked, and now YCP members reportedly feel relieved as police take action against him.

Similarly, a woman from Chilakaluripeta is under police scrutiny for highly objectionable and indecent posts, with many supporting her arrest. But here’s a twist: a YCP social media activist known for critical but non-vulgar, decent posts was also troubled by the police. When he claimed there were no legally objectionable posts on his channel, some police officers allegedly created a vulgar post and tried to force him to publish it. The activist broke down, stating that he would rather risk his life than post such content. Seeing his distress, the police left him and moved on.

This situation shows that each party—YCP, TDP, and Janasena—has uncontrollable social media activists, while some police are resorting to framing certain activists as the worst offenders. It’s a chaotic situation that needs correction.
