The news has been made official now. Telugu Desam Party, Janasena an BJP have announced that they are jointly contesting the 2024 election in Andhra Pradesh and have formed an alliance.
"TDP, JSP, and BJP are joining forces to bring Andhra Pradesh back on growth track. This is a significant moment for our state, which has suffered and lived through its darkest phase in history over the last five years. History will record this alliance as a turning point, a necessity that positively transformed the State and the lives of the people of Andhra Pradesh." Nara Lokesh tweeted.
"Today, affirming their trust in the leadership of Modi Ji the Telugu Desam Party and the Jana Sena Party have joined the NDA. I welcome Shri @ncbn and Shri Pawan Kalyan to the NDA. Their association will expedite the fulfillment of the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh." Amit Shah tweeted.
Pawan Kalyan stated "After a decade of socio,economic political turmoil ,due to AP bifurcation and half a decade of YCP Govt policy terrorism, corruption, plundering of natural resources like sand & precious minerals , liquor mafia, desecration of temples, making TTD as ATM, intimidation, coercion and physical assaults on opposition leaders & their parties cadre, abusing judiciary, intimidation of businessmen and industrialists where there were forced to flee,red sandalwood smuggling, 30,000 plus women missing, highest atrocities on Dalits …. And list goes on and on.. this necessitates the alliance more than anything."
This alliance will contest together in the coming election and it has to be seen how their collaboration will fare in 2024 after having won in 2014.
