- TDP, AP Polls
The Andhra Pradesh elections are not too far from now as the polling date is fast approaching - 13 May. With election around the corner, a lot of anticipation is placed on the surveys and opinion polls.
In one such pre-election poll done by a survey agency named Elecsense, it is established that the YS Jagan-led YSR Congress will be forming the government again in Andhra Pradesh.
The findings of the survey are as below: Elecsense Survey for Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election -
YSRCP : 127 (50.38%)
TDP+ : 48 (45.58%)
INC : 00 (1.38%)
OTH : 00 (2.66%)
By this projection, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appears to be well on course to become the CM of AP again for the second term in a row and this could very well be a huge deal in the context of the coming polls.
Going by this report, the impact of the TDP+ alliance in Andhra Pradesh is going to be strictly minimal, which isn't what is expected considering the anti-incumbency that could play a role.
