In the 2019 Andhra Pradesh election, the ruling party YSR Congress outrightly dominated the political scene by winning a whopping 49/52 MLA seats in the Rayalaseema region. 

With the Seema region heavily rallying behind the YSR Congress, the Jagan-led party could manage to embark on a historically triumphant run in the election. 

Come 2024 election, the expectations are high on the Seem region again. In case YCP wins 45+ seats from the available 52 seats in Seema, the political scene could be heading in one direction in AP again. 

For the TDP+ alliance to have a say in the polls and stand a chance of winning the same., the party must largely better its performance from the 2019 election. 

There are reports that TDP has improved in Chittoor and Anantapur districts of the Seema region so the party cadres are hoping for a better result here this term.
