Andhra Pradesh has seen a shift in government with the onset of the TDP-alliance in the state. The TDP+ alliance has stormed to power by winning 164 out of the 175 MLA seats in the state. 

Coming to Amaravati, Chandrababu said "Amaravati isn't just a capital, it's a collective symbol of the aspirations of our people of Andhra Pradesh. The manner in which the YSRCP regime disregarded these aspirations, brutalized our farmers,  and destroyed our capital, left us deeply pained."

"Today, I conducted an inspection of the Amaravati region and assessed its current state. We shall resume building our capital together, starting today. Amaravati is God's will, and destiny has found its course". 

Thanks to Chandrababu's affirmative stance on brining back the lost glory of the capital region, Amaravati is reportedly seeing an upswing in the real estate prices and related activities. 

Chandrababu said Amaravati is a self-financing project and the revenue generated here will be enough to carry on with the development activities in the area.
