- Nara Lokesh, Red Book, Liquor policy irregularities, Andhra Pradesh politics, Agrigold lands issue
Nara Lokesh, Minister for Human Resources, has provided detailed explanations regarding the 'Red Book,' a record maintained by his party to document the alleged misrule and atrocities committed by the previous YCP government. According to Lokesh, the book played a crucial role in initiating action against Jogi Rajeev, son of former minister Jogi Ramesh, who is accused of fraudulent activities related to Agrigold lands. Lokesh revealed that Rajeev allegedly forged documents to transfer land ownership to himself, subsequently selling the properties for personal gain.
Lokesh emphasized that the 'Red Book' not only highlights specific cases like Rajeev's but also serves as a basis for broader action against various YCP leaders involved in irregularities such as those related to liquor policy and sand mining. He criticized the previous government’s handling of public issues and assured that the TDP, in coalition with BJP and Jana Sena, is committed to holding all offenders accountable.
Furthermore, Lokesh attributed the substantial mandate received by the TDP coalition in the recent Assembly elections to the public’s trust in the promise of action against wrongdoers, as outlined in the 'Red Book.' He reaffirmed the party’s dedication to enforcing legal measures against those who have violated laws and caused trouble, reinforcing the TDP's commitment to justice and accountability.
