Actor-turned-politician Babu Mohan, known for his frequent shifts between political parties in Telangana, is expected to rejoin the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) soon. Babu Mohan’s political journey began with TDP, after which he moved through various parties including BRS, BJP, and even KA Paul’s Prajashanthi Party. His brief stint with KA Paul’s party was notably short-lived, as he joined in the morning and resigned by evening, citing unusual reasons.

Recently, Babu Mohan met with CM Chandrababu Naidu during his visit to the NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad. During this meeting, Babu Mohan reminisced about the support he received from TDP during his early political career. Notably, Babu Mohan served as the Minister of Labour in Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet after his initial success as an MLA in 1998, indicating a longstanding relationship with the veteran leader.

This meeting has sparked rumors about Babu Mohan’s imminent return to TDP, especially as the party seeks to revitalize its presence in Telangana. With TDP making strides in Andhra Pradesh, CM Chandrababu Naidu is keen on reinvigorating the party’s efforts in Telangana. Babu Mohan’s potential rejoining could be the first step in a series of moves aimed at restoring TDP's influence in the region.
