Revenue officials in NTR district have been issued showcause notices for their negligence in issuing land certificates bearing the image of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. This incident has sparked controversy and criticism from the TDP cadre, who have accused the officials of continuing outdated practices despite the recent change in government. The certificates in question were issued by the Mee Seva centre at Dabbakulapalli village in Votsaboyi mandal, raising concerns about adherence to current government protocols.

The MRO (Mandalam Revenue Officer) has directed the concerned officials, including the tahsildar, RI (Revenue Inspector), and VRO (Village Revenue Officer), to report on the total number of certificates issued with the previous government's image. The TDP cadre has criticized the officials for their failure to update the certificates in accordance with the new administration's requirements and has called for the cancellation of the Mee Seva centre’s license.

In response to the allegations, the officials have acknowledged that the issuance of a certificate with the old image was a mistake. They have launched an inquiry to identify and withdraw any additional certificates issued with the previous government's logo. All Mee Seva centres and revenue officials have been instructed to exercise increased caution in issuing government certificates to prevent such errors in the future. The officials have also warned of serious action against any further lapses in adhering to updated protocols. The certificate issue came to light when a resident requested an adangal copy for his land on September 12, highlighting the need for meticulous adherence to current government standards.
