In the wake of the NDA alliance forming the government in Andhra Pradesh, a new trend has surfaced on social media regarding the swift actions of the AP Police department. They have begun responding promptly to allegations made against ministers or leaders from the NDA, indicating a concerted effort to counter what they describe as a conspiracy by political rivals aimed at undermining the government.

Recently, T. Chandra Sekhar, a YCP MLA from Yerragondapalem, took to the platform X to level serious allegations against AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh. He claimed that Lokesh is promoting a poker culture in the state, citing the emergence of numerous poker clubs that allegedly operate with the minister's knowledge. Chandra Sekhar questioned, “Is it appropriate for you to provide facilities to such clubs?” in reference to the alleged activities.

In response to these claims, the AP Police department requested that the YCP MLA provide evidence to support his allegations. They stated, “Please share any evidence you might have regarding the allegations you’ve made against Minister @naralokesh Garu. We will take appropriate action.” This direct approach from the police highlights their commitment to addressing allegations seriously and maintaining accountability.

Moreover, the police warned that if Chandra Sekhar’s claims were baseless and intended to defame the Chief Minister and the minister, they would pursue legal action against him. Interestingly, the MLA has yet to respond to the police's request for evidence, raising questions about the validity of his allegations and suggesting he may face repercussions for making unfounded claims.
