- Tirumala laddus, YCP government, Pawan Kalyan
A significant controversy has erupted after it was revealed that during the YCP's rule, the famous laddus from Tirumala were made using ghee that contained fish oil, pork fat, and beef fat. This revelation has caused widespread outrage among Hindus across the globe, leading to strong condemnation of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's government for what many consider an unforgivable act.
In response to the situation, Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan took to social media platform X to express his concern. He stated, “We are all deeply disturbed by the findings of animal fat mixed in Tirupati Balaji Prasad.” Pawan Kalyan emphasized the need for accountability from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board, which was constituted under the YCP government. He assured the public that the government is committed to taking stringent action regarding the matter.
Pawan also suggested the establishment of a ‘Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board’ at a national level to address broader issues surrounding temple practices and the preservation of Hindu traditions. He advocated for a national debate involving policymakers, religious leaders, judiciary members, citizens, and the media to collaboratively address the desecration of Sanatana Dharma.
As the controversy unfolds, many are rallying for a collective effort to ensure the sanctity of religious practices is maintained across the nation.
