The political landscape in Andhra Pradesh is shifting as former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy initiated a trend of exits from the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP). Following this trend, former Ponnuru MLA Kilari Venkata Rosaiah has decided to part ways with the YCP, signaling a notable loss for the party in the Assembly constituency.

Kilari recently met with Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, and this meeting proved pivotal in his decision to join the party. He is set to officially announce his entry into Jana Sena during a ceremony on Sunday in the presence of Pawan Kalyan. This move is seen as a major setback for YCP, as Kilari's departure removes a prominent face from the constituency.

Kilari's decision is not an isolated incident. Several other former legislators, including ex-Jagayyapeta MLA Saamineni Udhaybhanu, former Pithapuram MLA Pendem Dorababu, and former Darshi MLA Maddisetti Venugopal, are also contemplating a shift to Jana Sena. This potential influx of leaders indicates a growing momentum for the party, raising concerns for YCP as it navigates the changing political dynamics in the state.
