Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently facing significant backlash for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments by failing to uphold the sanctity of the Tirupati temple. The controversy erupted following a statement from current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who raised concerns about the adulteration of the temple's famous Laddu prasadam.

The sensitive issue has sparked outrage nationwide, with many Hindus expressing their dissatisfaction with Jagan's handling of the situation. Although he addressed the media regarding the allegations, his responses lacked concrete evidence, leaving many feeling that he was unprepared to defend himself against the claims.

As the controversy continues to escalate, Jagan is now facing the ire of BJP supporters. Protests have emerged near his residence in Tadepalli, where activists rallied with slogans such as "Jai Shree Ram," demanding an apology for what they perceive as disrespect towards Hindu beliefs. The police intervened, arresting the protesters to maintain order.

Currently residing in Bengaluru, Jagan has been making occasional visits to Andhra Pradesh as political issues arise. With the mounting pressure from both the public and political opponents, it remains to be seen how he will navigate this challenging situation and address the concerns of the Hindu community.
