Acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has commissioned a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to thoroughly investigate the matter.

Naidu announced that this investigation will not follow standard procedures; instead, it is being treated with utmost seriousness. An officer of Inspector General rank or higher will lead the SIT to uncover the hard facts surrounding the laddu controversy. The investigation will encompass various critical aspects, including reverse tendering, the cancellation of the contract with the Karnataka Milk Federation, the alleged adulteration of the laddu, and the individuals involved in the debacle.

Amidst the turmoil, preparations are underway for a Maha Shanthi Yagam at the holy Tirumala shrine, set to begin on Monday. This ritual aims to atone for the perceived wrongdoings related to the laddu prasadam, highlighting the community's dedication to rectifying the situation.
