SFA Championships 2024-25: Expanding to 10 Cities with New Locations and Advanced Technology Integration

Sports For All (SFA) has announced the launch of the SFA Championships 2024-25, marking an exciting expansion across 10 cities in India. With over 150,000 participants from more than 7000 top sporting schools, the championships will showcase students competing in 31 different sports. For the first time in its nine-year history, the event will include Dimapur, Nagaland, highlighting SFA’s commitment to broadening its reach and impact.
The championships will kick off on October 4 in Uttarakhand, with subsequent events held across various cities including Delhi, which will host the games from October 5-15 at prestigious venues like Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and Indira Gandhi Stadium. Jaipur will conclude the series from December 6-16. Since its inception in 2015, the SFA Championships have expanded significantly from their origins in Mumbai, with past events in cities such as Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, and Bengaluru.
Rajas Joshi, Founding Member and Chief Operating Officer of SFA, emphasizes the organization's mission to elevate grassroots sports and integrate technology to enhance the athlete experience. With AI-powered match videos and tech-enabled fitness assessments, the championships provide detailed performance analytics for strategic training decisions. The event will also be featured in a special series on JioCinema, bringing grassroots sports to a broader audience and further igniting the sporting passion among young athletes across India.
