India's men's football team earned a 1-1 draw against Malaysia in their second-half comeback during an international friendly match held at the GMC Balayogi Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. Malaysia took the lead early in the match with a goal from Paulo Josue, but India's Rahul Bheke scored an equalizer to level the score at 1-1.

This match marked the fourth outing for Manolo Marquez as head coach of the Indian team, but unfortunately, the squad has not yet managed to secure a victory under his leadership. Earlier results in the Intercontinental Cup included a goalless draw against Mauritius and a heavy 0-3 loss to Syria, while the team's previous friendly match saw them share a 1-1 draw with Vietnam.

Despite showing moments of resilience, India's continued inability to secure a win raises questions about their performances under the Spanish coach. As the team prepares for future international competitions, the focus will shift to improving their overall performance and finding a winning formula.

Coach Marquez will hope the squad can build on these performances as they face tougher challenges in upcoming qualifiers and friendlies.
