Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Meets Film Industry, Clarifies Stance on Allu Arjun

In a recent meeting with Telugu film industry personalities, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed several key issues, including his stance on actor Allu Arjun and the Sandhya Theatre stampede. Revanth clarified that he held no ill feelings toward Allu Arjun, highlighting their long-standing rapport, dating back to childhood. The CM emphasized that his actions were always in line with the law, regardless of personal opinions.
Revanth also used the occasion to call on the film industry to take an active role in addressing social issues, particularly focusing on drug and marijuana eradication. He reminded the attendees of the Congress government's historical support for the industry, assuring them that his administration would continue to support and work closely with film professionals.
The CM outlined initiatives to elevate the Telugu film industry, such as the creation of the Gaddar Award, aimed at recognizing regional talent and filling a gap in local accolades. He also credited the appointment of Dil Raju as FDC Chairman for further strengthening the ties between the government and the industry.
