The Elephant Guardian: Reteti Elephant Sanctuary
The story of Reteti- the first community-run elephant sanctuary in East Africa whose goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-wild abandoned or orphaned elephants calves, told by an elephant guardian Dorothy Lowakutuk. Established in 2016 in Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy, local communities here are standing up united for wildlife and benefiting from the many values these elephants have for them.
