Political tensions in Telangana have reached new heights following a recent press conference held by BRS working president and former IT Minister KTR. In his address, KTR strongly defended Padi Kaushik Reddy, a BRS MLA who has been at the center of a heated dispute with Arkepudi Gandhi, a defector from BRS to Congress. This controversy has intensified the ongoing political skirmishes between the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Opposition parties.

KTR’s remarks targeted Congress leader Revanth Reddy, accusing him of engaging in diversion politics and attempting to poach BRS MLAs. He expressed his frustration over what he described as Revanth Reddy's attempts to undermine the people of Greater Hyderabad, where the Congress party failed to secure any MLA seats in the last assembly elections. KTR derided the situation as "High Drama," claiming it reflects poorly on Hyderabad's image and labeling it a "demolition" of the city’s reputation.

In his scathing critique, KTR referred to Revanth Reddy with derogatory terms like ‘Chitti Naidu’ and ‘Bullabbai,’ signaling his disdain for Reddy’s political maneuvers. He accused the Congress leader of exacerbating the law and order situation in Hyderabad, further straining the city’s already tense atmosphere.

KTR also addressed the fallout from Kaushik Reddy’s controversial comments about 'Androllu,' which were perceived as targeting Andhra settlers in Telangana. He defended Reddy, asserting that such regional sentiments were not an issue during KCR’s tenure, implying that the current discord is a new development under the Congress-led opposition.

Adding to the controversy, KTR condemned the recent attack on Kaushik Reddy’s house by supporters of Arkepudi Gandhi, which reportedly involved the state police. He accused Revanth Reddy of inciting violence and abusing his power, escalating the political conflict.

Overall, KTR's press conference has added a new layer to the political drama in Telangana, with his strong rhetoric against Congress and Revanth Reddy further fueling the ongoing strife between the ruling and opposition parties.
