Revanth Reddy has made history by becoming only the second Chief Minister of Telangana in the state’s brief electoral history. Achieving this milestone by defeating KCR and bringing the Congress party back to power is no small feat, and few could have accomplished it like Revanth.

Now that he occupies the CM chair, Revanth is focused on strategies to extend his tenure beyond the typical five years. During a recent Congress CLP meeting in Hyderabad, he made his intentions clear, emphasizing the need for accountability among party members.

At the meeting, Revanth issued a candid warning to certain Congress MLAs regarding their commitment to public service. He noted, “It has come to my notice that some MLAs have sidelined public service and are more focused on personal gains after winning the election. This isn’t the right approach.” He stressed that while the party hierarchy is dedicated to delivering governance that is friendly to the public, any lethargy would undermine their efforts.

Revanth asserted that he personally monitors the work of each MLA and instructed them to be available for their constituents from 4 to 6 PM every day. He highlighted his own dedication by stating that he had not taken a single day off from his government duties in the past nine months.

The new CM made it clear that the people of Telangana are firmly behind the Congress party, and it is their duty to uphold that support. He warned MLAs that neglecting public grievances could jeopardize their future in the party.

As Revanth Reddy embarks on this new chapter as CM, his focus on accountability and public service sets the tone for his administration and signals a determined effort to maintain the trust of the electorate.
