Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has launched a significant initiative focused on supporting the Backward Communities (BCs) in Andhra Pradesh, acknowledging their vital role in his party's journey. This effort includes a thorough survey designed to assess the socio-economic status of BCs across the state.

The primary objective of the survey is to collect essential data about the BC population, including their living conditions, employment types, and available skills. This data will help the government identify the resources and facilities necessary to uplift these communities effectively.

Naidu intends to collaborate with a reputable organization from either Delhi or Chennai to conduct the survey, with plans to finalize this partnership by the first week of November. This collaboration aims to ensure accurate data collection and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by BCs.

The survey's outcomes will be instrumental in determining the support required for BCs. A significant focus will be placed on providing training programs for BC youth, helping them enhance their skills and become industry-ready. This initiative is timely, given the trend of individuals transitioning to professional and technology-driven occupations.

Previously, the TDP government has assisted BC youth by distributing vocational tools and equipment free of charge. Building on this foundation, the government is now expanding its support to include targeted training that integrates technology, ultimately enabling individuals to increase their earning potential and improve their living standards.

Through this initiative, CM Naidu aims to foster economic development and inclusivity, ensuring that all communities in Andhra Pradesh have access to necessary resources and training. This commitment reflects a broader strategy to empower Backward Communities and enhance their socio-economic well-being.
