Mangalagiri police station witnessed heavy security measures as Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, a former advisor to the YCP government, arrived for interrogation linked to the recent attack on the TDP headquarters. This incident has escalated tensions in Andhra Pradesh politics, with various YCP leaders, including Devineni Avinash, Nandigam Suresh, Lella Appireddy, and Jogi Ramesh, facing charges in connection to the case.

Sajjala, identified as the 120th accused, is under scrutiny for his alleged involvement in the attack. A lookout notice had been issued for him, prompting his appearance before Mangalagiri DSP Muralikrishna and Mangalagiri Rural CI Srinivasa Rao for questioning.

Former APP Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy and MLC Lella Appireddy accompanied Sajjala to the police station. Ponnavolu attempted to enter the interrogation room with Sajjala but was denied access by the police, leading to an argument where he reportedly threatened officers with intimidation gestures. The police clarified that entry would only be granted with court permission, ultimately leaving Ponnavolu outside as Sajjala proceeded with the interrogation.

As the investigation unfolds, the Andhra Pradesh police, assisted by CID sleuths, have already conducted substantial inquiries into the case, aiming to uncover the full extent of the alleged offenses related to the TDP headquarters attack.
