Will KTR Be Arrested? Minister’s Hints Stir Political Tension in Telangana

Minister for Revenue and Housing, Information & Public Relations, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, recently commented on the unfolding Janwada Farmhouse Party Case, hinting at possible high-profile arrests. He questioned, “Will KTR be arrested in the next day or two? Or could it be another key BRS leader?" Reddy suggested that current events in the state indicate that an arrest is likely imminent.

Reddy's remarks have intensified discussions statewide, especially following his previous statement that "political bombs" would soon "explode" in Telangana. Investigations are actively underway in several significant matters, including the Kaleswaram project, electricity procurement practices, and alleged phone tapping.

During a press conference, media personnel pressed Reddy on when these political upheavals might occur. He responded cryptically, suggesting they would happen before Diwali, with sources close to the government affirming this timeline. Yet, no details were provided on the specific BRS leader potentially involved.

Speculation is high that KTR could face arrest, with his name repeatedly surfacing in relation to the phone-tapping controversy and a separate formula racing case. If KTR is not detained, sources hint that another senior BRS figure, one of KCR's closest associates, may instead face legal action.
