The Telangana Assembly was adjourned on Monday after BRS MLAs raised slogans and disrupted the debate on the Telangana State Tourism Policy. The debate, which resumed after a tea break, was halted when opposition members continued to protest against the Congress government.

In response to the disruption, Legislative Affairs Minister D. Sridhar Babu criticized the BRS legislators for not adhering to the rules and traditions of the House. Speaker G. Prasad Kumar intervened, directing the BRS MLAs to hand over their pamphlets to the marshals and disapproving of their behavior inside the House. Despite this, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao began his speech on the tourism sector, but the protest continued. The Speaker then promised to allow BRS MLA T. Harish Rao to speak but eventually adjourned the session for the day due to the ongoing disruptions.

After the adjournment, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao criticized the Congress government for not addressing the issue of the arrest of farmers involved in the November 11 attack on government officials during a public hearing on land acquisition in Kodangal. Congress Whip Adi Srinivas responded by accusing the BRS of wasting Assembly time and not sincerely raising people's issues. The BRS also protested against the treatment of a farmer, who was reportedly taken to the hospital in handcuffs. CM A. Revanth Reddy later demanded an explanation from officials regarding the incident.
