Heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda tried his hand at mythology for the first time as he played spirited warrior Arjuna in recent big-event spectacle, Kalki. Though this is Vijay's first time playing such a role, he has drawn unanimous positive response not just in Telugu but also amongst the Hindi and Malayalam audience.

Vijay dubbed for his Arjuna role in Hindi and his dialect and diction were unconditionally approved by the Hindi folk. Many are pleasantly surprised by the vocal panache shown by Vijay. The common opinion there is that Vijay has the right demeanor and the vocal prowess to play mighty Arjuna. 

In Malayalam, Vijay didn't necessarily dub for his role but the exuberant aura has touched the Mallu folk big time. There are countless appreciative tweets on Vijay and his impactful presence. The common consensus here is that Vijay looked apt for the Arjuna role and evoked the right emotions to bring this role to life on screen.

Impressing the Telugu audience as Arjuna by being a known face was always going to be easy for Vijay. But the actor in him resonated so well that he captivated even the Hindi and Malayalam audience with just a 2-minute cameo. This is the kind of stuff that dreams are made of for any actor.
