Rashmika Mandanna, who has been steadily building her presence in Bollywood, is gearing up for another big release, Chhaava. After her massive hit Animal, Rashmika’s journey in Bollywood has seen mixed results, with Goodbye and Mission Majnu not making a big impact. However, Chhaava seems to hold special significance for her, as it marks her portrayal of Maharani Yesubai, the wife of the Maratha King, Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

At the trailer launch event, Rashmika expressed her immense satisfaction and gratitude for the opportunity to play such a monumental role. She humorously shared with the audience, "I tell Laxman sir that after this, I am happy to retire." She went on to explain how playing Maharani Yesubai is one of the most privileged and special experiences of her career.

Rashmika, known for her cheerful persona, also mentioned how deeply emotional the trailer made her feel, adding, “I am not someone who cries, but this trailer choked me up." She also praised her co-star Vicky Kaushal, stating, "Vicky Kaushal looks like God, he’s Chhaava."

Chhaava, a historical drama, will hit theaters on February 14th. It’s a film that marks a milestone for Rashmika’s Bollywood career, and the anticipation is high for how her performance will be received by audiences.
