These lessons are suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced professionals, and I offer both in person and virtual, depending on location and availability.
Beginners: Do you have questions about how your voice works? Are you trying to work out what range and what types of music sound good in your voice?
Advanced singers: Is there something about your technique that just isn't quite clicking? Do you continue to have weaker spots in certain parts of your range? Is there a difficult passage or phrase which you feel you could sing better but can't quite get there?
These are all questions that I have answered for myself through years of study and professional performance and I'm happy to help you if you are excited to make music.
I have been fortunate to perform in operas, concerts, casinos, bars, and all manner of private functions. I have been the opening act for many famous singers, and have headlined shows as well. After touring with bands, I studied music and voice with Dr. Eldon Black at ASU, with Richard Miller at Oberlin Conservatory, and at Baylor University under Dr. John Van Cura. Whatever your musical goals, I am happy to help. Lessons are $30/half hour. If this is cost prohibitive, then you can message me about applying for a sliding scale. I don't want money to be an obstacle to you learning about your voice if you are passionate about it.
