Introducing KFAA 29: Your New Home for Dallas Mavericks Broadcasts

Dallas Mavericks fans, get ready for an exciting season! The WFAA sister station KMPX (Ch. 29) in Dallas-Fort Worth has been officially rebranded as KFAA 29, becoming the new dedicated home for local Mavericks broadcasts. Under a multi-year agreement with the Mavericks and TEGNA, KFAA 29 will air 70 Mavericks games this season, bringing fans all the action for free.

The Mavericks Lineup on KFAA 29

Starting Saturday, Oct. 26, with the Mavericks facing off against the Phoenix Suns at 9 p.m., KFAA 29 will broadcast all non-nationally televised games, including at least 15 simulcast on WFAA’s Channel 8. This expanded access ensures fans across Dallas-Fort Worth never miss a moment, with five exclusive Mavericks games to air on ABC’s national NBA schedule.

Extended Coverage Across Texas

Through partnerships with additional TEGNA Texas stations, fans in cities like Waco, Tyler, Midland-Odessa, Abilene, and San Angelo will also be able to tune into Mavericks games. Other regional networks, including KFDA in Amarillo and KSHV in Shreveport, will further expand game access across Texas and nearby regions.
