Indian Americans in Silicon Valley held a solidarity rally at Milpitas City Hall to condemn recent violence against Hindus in Canada and Bangladesh. Community leaders and participants called for global attention to these incidents and urged U.S. leaders to hold the governments of Canada and Bangladesh accountable for safeguarding Hindu minority populations.

The rally highlighted the attack on Hindu devotees at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Canada, where Khalistani extremists targeted worshippers during Diwali celebrations. Protesters also condemned violence by radical groups in Bangladesh, demanding stronger international actions against such atrocities.

Participants raised slogans such as "Stop Khalistani terrorism, protect Canadian-Hindus" and "Stop Islamist terrorism, protect Bangladeshi-Hindus." Leaders emphasized the need for justice and protection for Hindu minorities in both countries.

Dr. Ramesh Japra from Americans for Hindus stated, "We are one world, one family, one future," urging unity against religious intolerance and extremism. Pushpita Prasad from the Coalition of Hindus in North America (CoHNA) voiced concerns about Sikh for Justice’s activities in Canada and the U.S., highlighting the organization's banned status in India.

The gathering shed light on the alleged infiltration of Khalistani sympathizers into Canadian law enforcement, as some police were seen targeting Hindu devotees during the Brampton attack. Organizers expressed disappointment in the Canadian government’s failure to protect human rights and accused Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's administration of enabling extremist activities under the guise of freedom of expression.
