The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is set to make a thrilling comeback on Friday, October 18, as it opens Season 11 with an exciting match between the Telugu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This year’s launch event took place at Hyatt Place in Banjara Hills, featuring the League Commissioner Anupam Goswami and team captains, including Pawan Sehrawat and Pardeep Narwal.

A standout moment from the launch was an exhibition match between the PKL captains and prominent social media creators, highlighting the league’s collaboration with Meta. This innovative approach aims to engage a broader audience and inject fresh energy into the sport.

Anupam Goswami remarked on the league's growth, stating, "The first decade of the PKL has been a huge achievement, but for us, the focus is on using these experiences to prepare for the next phase." He emphasized the league's commitment to a fan-first approach, aiming to expand PKL’s reach internationally.

Both team captains expressed their eagerness for the opening match. Pawan Sehrawat, captain of the Telugu Titans, expressed gratitude for the support from fans and confidence in his team's performance. Bengaluru Bulls’ captain Pardeep Narwal shared similar sentiments, highlighting the team’s preparations and balanced roster for the upcoming season.

The excitement for Season 11 is further fueled by the recent player auction, where eight players were sold for over INR 1 crore, showcasing the league's rising popularity and financial investment. The PKL will feature a three-city format this season, commencing in Hyderabad and later moving to Noida and Pune.

As the league progresses, organizers are committed to enhancing fan experiences both digitally and on-ground, with plans for immersive interactions and unforgettable moments that will deepen the connection between fans and the PKL journey.
