- Ratan Tata, CM Chandrababu Naidu
The nation continues to mourn the loss of Ratan Tata, a titan of industry and a beloved figure in India. In a heartfelt tribute, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced the establishment of the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Amaravati, aimed at commemorating Tata's profound legacy and contributions to the Indian economy.
During a review of the industrial policy, CM Naidu outlined that the Innovation Hub will be located in the capital city and will consist of five centers, each paired with a multinational corporation (MNC) as a mentor. This initiative is designed to promote skill development, innovation, and startup facilitation within the region.
“To commemorate the profound legacy of Mr. Ratan Tata, we have decided to establish an Innovation Hub titled ‘Ratan Tata Innovation Hub’ at Amaravati,” Naidu tweeted. “This hub will foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem and mentor startups.”
The Innovation Hub will be interconnected with five zonal centers, each supported by reputable business groups to facilitate technology and skill upgrades in emerging sectors. This initiative is part of the broader skill census program being implemented in Andhra Pradesh.
By establishing this hub, the state aims to honor the entrepreneurial spirit of its population while drawing inspiration from Ratan Tata's visionary leadership. This initiative stands as a fitting tribute to a man who significantly impacted India's industrial landscape.
