King Charles and Queen Camilla recently made a private visit to Bengaluru, where they stayed at the renowned SOUKYA International Holistic Centre. Their three-day retreat focused on rejuvenative treatments, including yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic therapies, aimed at promoting overall wellness.

During their stay, the royal couple engaged in various wellness activities tailored to their health needs. They followed a special diet and participated in morning yoga sessions, which are part of the holistic approach emphasized by the center. The couple also took advantage of the serene 30-acre campus, enjoying long walks and visiting the facility's organic farm.

This isn’t King Charles's first experience at SOUKYA; he previously celebrated his 71st birthday there in 2019. The center, founded and run by Dr. Issac Mathai, has gained recognition for its integrative health practices. Dr. Mathai was also one of the few individuals from India invited to attend King Charles's coronation.

King Charles has long been an advocate for Ayurveda and holistic health, having participated in initiatives aimed at promoting traditional Indian wellness practices. Notably, during his 2018 visit to the UK, he joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the launch of an Ayurvedic Centre of Excellence at the Science Museum in London, showcasing his commitment to integrating Ayurveda into modern health paradigms.
