Siemens' Investment in India's Workforce and Technology: Peter Koerte, the Managing Director of Siemens, emphasized India’s potential due to its large number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) — around 60 million — and the need for simplified, user-friendly technology to boost these businesses. He mentioned that Siemens sees India as a vital growth market, investing heavily in the country. With over 24,000 employees and two innovation hubs, Siemens is committed to advancing India’s productivity with AI-powered solutions, including a contract with Indian Railways for AI-powered locomotives. Koerte noted that India's progress towards becoming the third-largest global economy by 2030 will rely heavily on advancements in productivity and technology, where Siemens plays a crucial role.
Dassault Systèmes Praises India’s Skill Development and Sustainability: Florence Verzelen, Executive Vice President at Dassault Systèmes, highlighted India’s impactful policies around education and skill development, which have played a key role in attracting global investment. She pointed to India’s expertise in innovation, particularly in Pune, where the company is developing electric vehicle manufacturing software for global markets. Verzelen also applauded India’s leadership in renewable energy, its strong focus on sustainability, and its use of AI and digital twins for manufacturing. Dassault plans to open a new center in India next year, reinforcing their investment in the country’s growing R&D capabilities.
