- Web3 smart glasses, AI technology, smart glasses 2025
Up Network and DreamSmart have joined forces to introduce what they call the world’s first Web3-focused smart glasses, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and Google’s Gemini AI. These groundbreaking smart glasses aim to revolutionize the way users interact with the world of Web3, cryptocurrency, and blockchain services. Expected to be released by Q1 2025, these smart glasses will allow users to engage in real-time contextual AI interactions and handle crypto-related tasks seamlessly.
The collaboration leverages Up Network’s AI agent operating system to improve human-machine interactions and DreamSmart’s advanced tech expertise in EVs, smartphones, and wearables. The smart glasses will empower users, particularly newcomers to the crypto space, to interact with blockchain-related services using natural language commands, making it more accessible for everyday users.
In addition to providing a powerful AI assistant for crypto tasks, the glasses will allow users to earn tokenized incentives for engaging in decentralized activities. One of the standout features is that the glasses will give users ownership of their data as an asset, enabling them to retain full control over their Web3 interactions. All operations will be processed directly on the device, ensuring enhanced privacy and security.
“These glasses are not just a device—they're a gateway to the future of computing and decentralized technology, combining AI, XR, and Web3 incentives into one powerful ecosystem,” said Devansh Khatri, Co-founder at Up Network.
Weighing only 44g, the glasses are designed for comfort and offer up to eight hours of battery life. They feature an optical waveguide-based display to deliver an extended reality (XR) experience, making them suitable for entertainment, productivity, and daily use.
