In a recent press conference, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy took a firm stance against BRS leader KTR, emphasizing the Musi Riverfront Development Program's goal of rejuvenating the river rather than merely beautifying it. He criticized the opposition for obstructing this crucial initiative, which aims to improve the living conditions of those affected by the Musi River's pollution.

Revanth Reddy issued a bold challenge to his opponents, inviting them to live along the Musi riverfront for three months, promising to shut down the HYDRAA project if they could endure the experience. He suggested that officials allocate homes for Eeteal Rajender, KTR, and Harish Rao, humorously stating that meals would be provided as part of the rehabilitation program.

The CM dismissed the opposition's claims regarding the project’s estimated cost of ₹1.5 lakh crores, asserting, “This is not a Kaleshwaram project to swindle money.” He also raised concerns about the frequent traffic jams in Hyderabad caused by even light rainfall, questioning whether the city should depend on the individual living in a farmhouse for help during floods.

In his remarks, Revanth Reddy ridiculed the opposition's portrayal of the Musi project, insisting that it is not about superficial beautification akin to "going to Dubai for hair transplants." He firmly rejected the opposition’s allegations about the Musi rejuvenation effort, highlighting his commitment to meaningful change.
