Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made bold predictions regarding the political future of former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), suggesting that the BRS president is on the brink of losing his relevance in the coming year. This statement signals a potential end to KCR’s political era, according to Reddy.

Revanth highlighted internal conflicts within KCR’s family, specifically mentioning the deteriorating relationship between K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and his brother-in-law, Raj Pakala. He remarked, “The friendship between brothers-in-law will end,” indicating that these personal disputes could have broader implications for the BRS party.

The CM criticized KTR’s characterization of a recent gathering at Raj Pakala’s residence as merely a family event, especially following the discovery of casino coins at the house. KTR had previously defended the event as a small Diwali party held at the Janwada farmhouse, but Revanth's comments suggest a deeper scandal may be at play.

Additionally, Revanth Reddy asserted that the Congress government is strategically positioning itself to catch KTR off guard, now that he lacks the political protection of his father, KCR. He also pointed to allegations of corruption against KCR’s nephew, T. Harish Rao, predicting that these will be exposed without KTR’s backing. “Harish Rao will have to defend himself,” he stated, emphasizing that the Congress party is prepared to tackle both KTR and Harish Rao.

With KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao seemingly losing their influence, Revanth Reddy posits that the BRS will gradually fade from prominence in Telangana politics. The rivalry between the Congress and BRS remains heated, with leaders from both sides exchanging provocative statements almost daily.
