Chandrababu Naidu's Security Measures
Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has been granted one of the highest levels of security among Indian politicians. This is due to the significant security threats he faces, particularly from Naxals, which date back to the Alipiri attack in 2004. The state government has ensured that Naidu’s safety is a top priority by allocating him a robust protection setup, which includes National Security Guard (NSG) commandos and personnel from the Special Security Group (SSG), along with other local police forces. These measures aim to prevent any potential attacks, given Naidu's high-profile political role and the risks associated with his position.

Additional Security Measures Amid Rising Threats
Recently, Naidu's security protocols were further strengthened with the deployment of additional security units. A counter-action team comprising elite security personnel has been assigned specifically for the CM’s protection. These units are specially trained to deal with high-risk situations and are part of a comprehensive security network designed to handle multiple threats. This new layer of protection will work alongside the existing NSG and SSG commandos, ensuring a 24/7 surveillance and protection mechanism. Such steps have been taken following heightened concerns regarding the threat from Naxal insurgents, who have historically targeted prominent political figures in the region.

Four Layers of Security for Naidu
During his recent trip to Vizag, it became evident that Naidu now benefits from four layers of security, each designed to provide a specific function in ensuring his safety. These layers include the NSG commandos, SSG personnel, local police forces, and six specially trained counter-action teams. This multi-layered approach allows for swift action and close proximity protection, ensuring a rapid response to any threat. The heightened security is not only a precautionary measure but also a response to the rising risks Naidu faces from extremist groups, ensuring his ability to carry out his duties without fear of harm. This additional security illustrates the government's commitment to providing comprehensive protection to its key leaders.
