In his first major Delhi tour after fully assuming his duties as the CM of AP, Chandrababu Naidu is bound to discuss several relevant topics with PM Modi. Naidu, along with Payyavula Keshav, Narayana, and others is set to meet the BJP bosses and union ministers to discuss the underlying issues related to AP.

It is heard that a very important yet grossly ignored topic is likely to be presented by Chandrababu at the center. This is regarding the control of prices of essential commodities. 

As per reports, Naidu will be convening with the center and seek help in devising an import plan which would help curb the prices of essential commodities. He met administrative officers an bureaucrats already and took stock of the prices of tomatoes, onions, rice & pigeon pea and directed officials to prepare comprehensive price control plans.

Usually, state governments arent necessarily proactive when it comes to regulating the prices of commodities. This eventually builds negativity amongst the public and eventually to extreme electoral results. Naidu appears to be fully aware of the same and he appears to be on track to carefully leveraging TDP'sp position at the center to help regulate the commodity prices in AP.
