YSR Congress Party has accused the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh of using the police to intimidate and harass social media activists in an attempt to silence dissenting voices. The opposition party has vowed to fight back against these tactics and continue to question the actions of the ruling coalition. YSRCP Legal Cell President V. During a press conference addressing the issue, YSRCP leaders highlighted the misuse of police force by the ruling TDP party to target social media activists. They condemned the arbitrary arrests and emphasized that such actions infringe upon the fundamental rights of individuals. YSRCP president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy denounced the arrests as a violation of democratic principles and vowed to take legal action to protect the rights of social media activists.

The YSRCP leaders pointed out that numerous false cases have been filed against social media activists in various districts of Andhra Pradesh, with the intention of silencing dissent and opposition to the government. Party General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy reiterated the party's commitment to supporting and protecting social media activists facing harassment. He emphasized the importance of standing up against false propaganda and promoting public awareness.

Opposition leader in the Legislative Council, Botsa Satyanarayana, called for exposing the government's vendetta against social media activists and reaffirmed the party's dedication to providing swift assistance and legal support. The YSRCP leaders criticized the government for targeting social media activists who highlight government failures, while turning a blind eye to derogatory comments against party members. They emphasized the importance of upholding the right to freedom of expression and vowed to continue supporting activists in their fight against censorship and intimidation.
