- Telangana, Revanth Reddy, KCR, assembly, political showdown
Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has escalated his verbal attacks on opposition leader KCR by throwing an open challenge for him to attend assembly sessions. While Revanth has achieved his goal of becoming the CM and leader of the house, he is eager to see KCR in the opposition seat, which has not happened yet due to KCR's absence from assembly sessions.
In a bold statement, Revanth called out KCR to come out of hiding in his farmhouse and confront him in the assembly. He emphasized that the people should decide who the real leader is by witnessing them face to face in the legislative setting. Revanth also sarcastically mentioned that KCR has become the "president of the drunkards association" by avoiding the assembly.
Despite his aggressive tone, Revanth also urged KCR to provide constructive inputs on governance, hinting that they would be considered if beneficial. He criticized KCR for sending his associates, KTR and Harish Rao, to attack him but expressed confidence that they would not succeed against him.
It is speculated that KCR may soon resume his political activities and tour Telangana after a year of rest post-elections. The political landscape in Telangana seems poised for a showdown between Revanth and KCR, with Revanth's challenge setting the stage for a potential face-off in the assembly.
